Experience Venice in the most Venetian way possible: via a 35-minute shared gondola ride while being serenaded. Choose between an afternoon or evening ride and then hop on the six-person gondola by a gondolier who is clad in traditional garb. Then begin the ride, as part of a group of eight different gondolas, with a singer aboard one of the boats. In addition to the song being sun to you, enjoy the sites of Venice's main landmarks, including the grand Canal and Palazzo Barberino.
  • 35-minute Venice shared gondola flotilla ride and serenade
  • Ride on a six-passenger gondola along parts of the Grand Canal and smaller waterways
  • Listen to songs from a singer on board one of the gondolas in your flotilla
  • Drift by top Venice attractions such as Palazzo Barberino and Peggy Guggenheim Collection museum
  • Lose yourself in the romantic melodies as you soak up the passing sights
  • Choose from four afternoon and evening departure times to suit your schedule

You can walk around Venice. You could take a water taxi. But, really, there's only one way to get around La Serenissima, as this city of bridges and canals is nicknamed. And that way is by gondola. Decide to take one of four starting times when you book and then, on the day of the ride, head to the gondola pier at Piazza Santa Maria del Giglio in the center of Venice.

After your arrival, hop on the shared six-seater gondola and sit back and let to your gondolier, clad in traditional clothing, cruise you through the wide and narrow, popular and offbeat canals through Venice. Each gondola holds six people and you will be part of a flotilla of eight gondolas floating together. See the city's main landmarks, including the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the Grand Canal and various centuries-old palaces.

At one point during the ride, a singer will board one of the boats and begin crooning traditional Venetian tunes as you float along the canals. Sit back and let your ears take in the gorgeous songs and lose yourself in the sound and the look of Venice.
After about 35 minutes of floating through this magical city, return to the pier where your gondola ride finishes.

We enjoyed this relaxing ride thru the canals. Our driver was knowledgeable about the area and he was very sweet to explain the buildings.

The ride was great! We ended up with our own private gondola because we were last in line and the boats were full. I will say it was a little short....more like 20 minutes total vs. the 30 minutes. All in all it was a good experience!

I was really excited about this as part of our Europe vacation so was a little disappointed with our experience. There was four in our party and we had contemplated purchasing 6 tickets so that we would have just the four of us in the gondola but didn't as we thought they may think two couldn't make it and put us with another two people anyway - we did see another group do just that so regretted that we didn't. Having six in the gondola isn't ideal if you are the couple that is separated at the front so are unable to even get photos together. The lady doing the serenading was awesome she wasn't in our gondola but very close so we were glad that we had chosen this option. The gondoliers on this tour aren't very enthusiastic and spend the whole time smoking and texting on their phones.

Do yourself a favor and skip this. You'll have a much better time getting your own gondola and sit in the built in seats. You really have to read the fine print on this one. You are one of 8 gondolas--and the person singing is on one of them--most likely not yours. And they cram people in. There were 6 people in total and my wife and I didn't even sit together. In fact, I sat on a step on the boat--and my wife said in a different part of the gondola in a chair that wasn't built into the boat--and not surprisingly, when the boat made a quick turn, my wife fell out from her chair into some others. This was anything but romantic--and is basically a tourist trap. When I complained to the operator on how they seated us--they could care less--said to speak to the booking agent. Stay away!

This was wonderful - we were lucky enough to have the seat just in front of the gondolier and he was kind enough to take our photo before the remaining guests boarded.

6 to a boat. Uncomfortable stools to sit on. Singer was 3 boats ahead of us- really couldn’t hear him. Next time, I’d just get a boat for the 2 of us.

This is one of those things you must do. I loved the singer she made the trip. Our seats were not particularly comfortable try to be the first one in the boat to get the best seats. Our gondolier was not friendly. It is not a romantic trip you are with 4 other people and 5 other boats but really a fun experience and cheaper then setting it up after you arrive. If you wait until you are there to get one you won’t have a singer.
