What You Can Expect

Brela Sea Kayaking and Snorkeling from Split

Sea kayaking Brela

Make your way to a central location in Split, where you’ll meet a driver for a morning departure (the exact departure time changes with the season, see booking details for more information).

Board an air-conditioned minivan for the 32-mile (51-km) trip to Brela, where you’ll launch the sea kayak from a beach on Jakirusa Bay. Follow a guide along the coast, and take advantage of the maneuverable kayaks to explore the small coves that you’ll find, far from the more crowded beaches of the Croatian Riviera.

When you reach Vrulja Bay, slip off your boat to swim and snorkel over an undersea spring that pours out a steady stream of fresh water. If desired, you can stop along the way to try cliff jumping, and the guide can show you the best places to leap. This tour concludes with return transfer to Split.
