We had a great day at on our full-day tuk tuk temple and sunrise tour. Our guide Duong was on time, spoke fluent English, and took us to all the temples we wanted to see. We booked the tour from the U.S. and the communication with our guide was seamless. He left a message at our hotel confirming our pick-up time and location the day before the tour. The day was truly a Siem Reap highlight for my husband and me, and when the choices of selecting a tour can be overwhelming, I can easily recommend that there is no need to look any further than this tour. We loved it! Thank you!
Great tour and well worth it! The tour guide did not know we were supposed to go back to our hotel after the sunrise as advertised, but our hotel prepared to-go breakfast for us so we did not miss a meal. It was better this way since we ate at Angkor after the sun came up. The tour was schedule to last until around 6:00 pm, but we were back in our hotel by 3:00 pm and still saw everything as advertised. Our tour guide was great and tuk-tuk drivers we awesome as well. We worth it. Recommend to everyone going to Siem Reap.
Excellent knowledgeable guide picks you up at your hotel and takes you to all the biggest sites. The guide was passionate about the history, was extremely friendly and knew all the best places to take pictures. You will not need an entire day if you bring breakfast with you. We were picked up at 4:45 and finished by 1pm. Our hotel packed breakfast for us and we did not each lunch or do any shopping in the temple area. It was just my wife and I so we moved through the sites quicker than a larger group would.
An absolute must see! It's a long day, but well worth it. Angkor Wat is breathtaking! The surrounding temples are equally fascinating. Our guide, Socheat, was very sweet. His command of the language was limited, but much better than my Cambodian, so we all had fun for the day. It is a once in a lifetime experience to do- don't miss it!
A great private tour. The day starts by going to the ticket office to get your photo taken for the pass. Our guide timed it right as we missed the big queues and just went straight up. When we got to Angkor Wat, we sat on a wall for a while I must admit we were annoyed at this at first as we thought we were missing the great spot by the lake but it was the best decision ever!. Once the light started, we made our way to the lake and there were hundreds of people crammed by the lake. Our guide made us hang back a bit. As daylight appeared and we thought we'd got our photos we went back to the guide who informed us that sunrise was another 10 mins, so we waited. The crowds had gone and we got our picture perfect sun rising over the ruins. We went to 5 sites in total and it was great to see them all, especially the one which few tourists visited. We got back to our hotel at about 3 pm, and it was great to relax after an early start.
What could have made this better is asking if we were planning to make our own way to any other sites during our stay and allowing us to get a two day pass or more rather than a one day pass and letting us pay the additional cost at the ticket office out of own pocket, as this would save a lot of money.
