Why Travellers Choose This Tour

This package combines the best Seattle has to offer with a morning city tour, a stop at Pike Place Market and a Boeing Factory tour to finish out the day.
This comprehensive tour of Seattle is broken into three parts: a tour of the city itself, time at the famous Pike Place Market and a fascinating journey through the Boeing factory and Future of Flight Aviation Center.

The day begins with a hotel pickup before venturing to Seattle’s main attractions and landmarks in and around the city. There’s the famous Space Needle, of course. Also stop at historic Pioneer Square and Ballard Locks, which provides a link for boats between Puget Sound, the Ship Canal and Lakes Union and Washington. On a clear day, majestic Mt. Rainier will be visible in the distance. See it all, and cover an impressive 50 miles of real estate, in only three hours.

Then it’s off to Pike Place Market, one of the oldest farmer’s markets in the United States, for lunch (own expense) and leisure. Spend 1.5 hours wandering and welcoming the sights, sounds and smells (and tastes, definitely tastes) of this remarkable nine-acre market.

Finally, the tour moves to Boeing, the world’s largest aerospace company, and their factory north of the city in Everett, WA. Upon arrival, a Boeing representative will uncover the inner workings of the assembly plant where Boeing airplanes are manufactured. Go ahead, be impressed. It is, after all, the largest building in the world by volume. See the planes as they are being built and watch a short film that will further reveal how a plane is constructed from start to finish. Then stop at the Future of Flight Aviation Center, with interactive exhibits to not only build a plane, but also fly it in a simulator. Amazing.

The tour concludes with a return trip to Seattle.

We had Ken as a tour guide and he was super. He knew so much about Seattle and had little tidbits of information and history that made the tour interesting. If you don't have time to do the combo tour, at least take a Boeing Factory tour because that is awesome.

Our tour was great and "Captain" Ron was wonderful, engaging, informative, lots of personal insight, and very professional in his narration and his driving. The morning was a lot of driving ( and I think it could use a little more "outside" activity), but it gave a good perspective/acclimation to the Seattle area and some of the neighborhoods, especially for a 1/2 tour. The Boeing part of the combo was very professional and well run. Our host (Peter) was very enthusiastic, informative and accommodating. It was a great experience and Capt. Ron prepared us well for the tour and negotiated the horrific traffic jam on the way home. the tour did take a little longer than expected so give yourself plenty of room on the "back" end. It was a lot of fun.

This was a great tour-everything about it was fun. It was a long tour-but so worth it-five stars all the way

I first want to say that our tour guide Ken was FANTASTIC! He truly made the whole experience. My boyfriend and I were visiting Seattle for a week and based off of other trips we’ve done we started booking city tours the first few days in to help get a lay of the land. We did the same thing with Seattle and we are so happy we did. We booked the full day tour (city in the morning, Boeing in the afternoon). Not only was Ken extremely funny, courteous and knowledgeable but he was very patient. He handled everyone’s questions and needs very well. Ken also gave you a good idea of when and where you were going. We found this extremely helpful especially if you wanted to get your camera ready for an epic photo. The only part of the tour we were a little disappointed with was Boeing and that was none of Ken or our tour companies fault. The Boeing tour is led by a Boeing individual. Ours was a bit hurried, rude and kind of talked over our heads. I mean we are not all airplane builders here! It was still a neat experience though, so if you have the time and want to see an insanely large building and airplanes from afar, do it. All in all the day was fantastic and helped us plan the rest of our week in the city and surrounding neighborhoods. We highly recommend this tour and if you are lucky enough to get Ken then get ready for one of the best days you’ll have in Seattle!

This tour did not do several of the things on the list. Most concerning was the flight simulation and designing a plan at Boeing. It was an extremely limited trip in that regard, which is the only reason why I chose this trip and they didn't do it. There were also several other items on our itinerary that were left off without an explanation.

We got to see most of Seattle attractions and Boeing Factory in a day by bus, which picked up and dropped off at the hotel. Garry was very nice and excellent tour commentator/driver. We had a great time. Keep up the service. Only thing we missed is the view from Space niddle. It is not in the tour.

Kenny was great guide. He took us to Boeing factor and city tour. Pike Place Market place was nice. It's great place to have lunch. Locks was nice to see learning how canal is used, view from park he took us was nice too. I got to take great picture of city line. Boeing factory was great. We got to see how some of planes that we take at airport is made and we learned that new plane is in works, too. Great way to get acquainted with the city.

This tour was fantastic. Tour guide Ken was great. He did a lot of research to give all the details he told us about for so many different areas we visited. The only negative was a road closure so we couldn't see the Ballard locks. No fault of Ken. The city tour was a full 3 hrs with many short rest stops to stretch and see areas. Pike Market everything we expected -- throwing the fish and a great take-out type lunch at Lowells overlooking the water. The Boeing tour was great. As they explained there are steps up and down to get to the elevators - 2 different places. A little rushed. Got onto and off bus twice that takes you to assembly hanger. The combo tour is long but well worth it with Ken giving so many stories. A

This tour was the favorite part of our two-week road trip through Washington, Oregon and Idaho. It is alot to fit into one day. We would have enjoyed spending more time at Pike's Market, but with all of the traffic and construction in the area I'm not sure how that could be accomplished and still arrive at the Boeing plant in time. The website we booked through could be more informative about where the pick-up sites are for the tour. We had to make a few calls and spend time trying to make sure we would be in the right place at the right time, and that the place had parking for our vehicle all day. This research was the most frustrating part of the entire experience.
