After pickup from hotels or residences in the districts of Providencia, Las Condes, Vitacura, and Santiago Center, your day trip starts with the drive east of the city.
About 15 minutes later, you'll notice the scenery starts to include views of Andes hills as you drive along the road to Farellones. In the winter, you'll make a stop to rent snow/skiing clothes if you wish (own expense), and then continue the journey past homes perched between the hills. When you arrive in Farellones, explore the streets, learn a bit about its history and lifestyle, and stop at the Colorado Ski Resort for a photo op. Then keep driving to Valle Nevado, a ski resort where you can do whatever activities interest you (own expense).
Perhaps go skiing or enjoy another snow sport, ride the gondola for views of the Andes and Paloma Glacier, or have lunch at one of the restaurants. This is free time to spend however you like until the time you guide tells you that you have to meet up for the drive back to Santiago. Your tour ends in the early evening with drop-off in the city.
