We booked and confirmed our trip a month in advance of our tour because we would be arriving within 24 hours of the tour. Patricio, our driver to the vineyard, collected us on tIme but, unfortunately, our fellow Brazilian passengers had got onto the wrong tour bus and we had to sit and wait outside their hotel for an hour until they, unapologetically, returned. We then had a further hours drive to the vineyard before a toilet break.
The tour itself was a quick tour of the collection of growing vine varieties, interesting to see the differences between the leaf shapes and grape types, a quick explanation of the wine process and a tour of the cellar with some wine tasting in between.
There wasn't a great deal of technical detail, this is aimed more at the general public and is basically a sales tour, ending in the shop. Prices and choice were good and we bought 2 bottles at a great price to enjoy on board our cruise ship, which we boarded 2 days later, where the price was at least 4 times more.

Had a free half day so decided to do this tour, which turned out to be a good choice. Henry, our driver, gave us an interesting and informative commentary on the way to the vineyard. It was amazing to find such a beautiful and serene place so close to the city. The tour around the gardens and wine tastings was very enjoyable. We bought a bottle of wine at the shop, took it back to the hotel and ordered room service - very relaxing.
