Macao Buggy Adventure from Punta Cana

This excursion was one of my favorite!! The guys were very patience and made sure everything was taken care and we had a large group but it was well organized. I just wished it was a lot of mud so we could have gotten dirty, dirty!!

Excursion was as advertised. Small stops in each area, seeing the country side, a dip into the natural pool and enjoying the beach was a must-do experience

We really recommend Macao Buggy adventures, the staff are friendly and the trip was completely awesome!

Overall very fun. Could skip the stop at the farm for more time at Macao beach.

Super fun and super muddy! Wear something you don't mind getting dirty, and bring a bandanna or two to cover your face. This was my husband and I's first time in Punta Cana and we heard this excursion is a must, and I have to say I'm glad I decided to try it!
Our ride picked us up promptly at our hotel, we picked up two other groups and made our way to the excursion location. Everyone was super nice and friendly! I brought along a bag to hold our belogingings, though I wish I didn't because that bag that was once white is no longer white, and it was almost pointless to bring, so put whatever you can in one of those water-proof phone cases that you can wear.
We had our very own photographer the whole ride that took amazing pictures! 50 for the CD btw.. a bit expensive, but great pictures
We dune-buggied our way to a cocoa and chocolate plantation where we got to try samples and the cocoa was delicious! I ended up buying some to bring home. Afterwards we went to an underground cave, water hole where the cool water felt so good after the muddy ride. We only wish we could've stayed a bit longer. Then we made our way to the Macao beach, and I have to say it was beautiful!! Not overcrowded, and plenty of beach and sun for everyone. We got ourselves ice cream and cooled off the water before making our way back. Overall we had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this excursion.

Did this tour with our family 6 adults and 6 children between ages of 12 and 17. Everyone had a blast and the guides were very helpful. Swimming at cave could have been a little longer but would definitely recommend this tour for family fun. A little pushy at souvenir stop but chocolate and coffee demonstration was good. Beware - might want to wear old clothes as getting muddy was what the kids enjoyed the most!

This was my second trip to Punta Cana. I took this trip last year. It seemed to be a bit more organized last year. The group upon arrival at the facility was very large. I would certainly do this again with less people. The buggy trip is great. Be prepared to get muddy. If you take any personal belongings with you such as a travel bag or a backpack, consider wrapping them in a plastic trashbag to prevent them from getting muddy.

Our tour guide Fireman was kool. Get ready to get dirty.
