Macao Beach Surf Lessons

Great first experience for my 11 and 13 yr old and myself. Lots of instructors. They did not teach how to catch the wave yourself as they always held your board for you and the gave you a push when it was time to go. The only thing that was disappointing was there was no one there to take any pictures or video so we could buy any memories. Wish I would have brought my go pro.

Super fun day !! Though I was terrible at surfing they tried to help me alot. It is really hard, and you must have little strength in your body to keep the energy up. The waves was super big. Both for beginners and more experiencet surfers.

Hola from Canada. We booked online for 3. The shuttle picked us up on time, very friendly and spoke English well. Our 8 year daughter was given two instructors and not only learned to surf quickly, she was well looked after for safety and comfort. We used another surf school before and I rate this one higher. Very recommended for anyone nervous about the logistics of it all or a language barrier concern.

Great experience from start to finish.

I booked via Viator. Pickup was timely and in an air conditioned private van. Got to the beach, had a quick 5 minute lesson on the beach, stored our bags in a locked room and off we went. Our surf group had a total of 7 people - each surfer had their OWN instructor. It was 1 on 1 the entire lesson which was nice. 45 minutes of surfing, 15 mins break - fresh mangos and coconuts on the beach, and then another 45 minutes of surfing. The instructors are all very nice and accomodating to your needs. They usually just push you when the wave comes, but I asked my instructor if he could let me know when to start paddling and he said no problem. They had a photographer taking pictures the entire time - 40 for a cd . Overall it was a great experience with Punta Cana Surf Adventure. I would definitely go back and take another lesson with them.

Side note: I lost my GoPro in the ocean as it was attached to my board and all the instructors helped me look for it. 3 local kids from the beach joined the search and one of them found it! The instructors did not have to help look, but they did and i definitely appreciate them having our backs. They also helped to wave off pushy vendors on the beach after the lesson.

Loved this! We did a quick lesson on the beach then walked to the area with smaller waves, we had a guide out in the ocean, they would hold the back of the surf board for us, when the wave was ready they would push and tell us to jump up, it was fairly easy but you will get a massive amount of salt water in your eyes and up your nose. Totally worth it. Half way through we stopped for coconut water which was very refreshing after a stomach full of salt water. We continued on surfing, at the end I had asked if the guide would let me paddle and tell me when to get up which he did, I wasn't super successful but had a great time anyways!

My son17 and I47 went and surfed. The beach was incredible. Our instructorEddie was very kind and knowledgeable I was able to ride waves after a few tries, my son on the other hand took to it like a fish to water. Would do this again next time we go to Punta Cana.

This was one of the best things we have done and we have done most everything!! They give you about a 5 minute briefing but that is all you need You each have your own personal instructor and within minutes our entire family was able to stand and ....surf! You have two 45 minute sessions with a short break in between. You can buy a video and photos at the end if you wish. Would have rated this a 5 star but there were no snacks or drinks at the end as mentioned, and would have been nice to have. Fortunately we had brought our own beer.

Easy travel to the beach and great surfing lessons would definitely go again and recommend!

Everything was AMAZING!! The guys that helped us really went above and beyond to make our experience great! We both had a great time and would highly recommend the surf lessons.
