Choose your cruise option when you book, and travel independently to the cruise jetty on the Vltava River in the center of Prague.

Step on your comfortable boat, and take in the views from the water. Along the way, enjoy refreshments (own expense) from the onboard bar and, on the 1-hour trip, listen to the audio commentary to glean interesting facts about the passing sights. Audio commentary is not available on the 2-hour cruise. Both cruises start from and end at the same point.

1-Hour Cruise
Find a spot on deck or inside the cozy cabin, and absorb the sights on a 1-hour journey along the Vltava through Prague’s medieval center.

Snap photos as you pass massive Prague Castle, from where the spires of St Vitus Cathedral rise into the sky, and drift under statue-lined Charles Bridge, the city’s iconic, 14th-century stone bridge.

Pass other photo-worthy sights, including the magnificent National Theatre, Old Town Bridge Tower and Rudolfinum. Catch sight of the intriguing Prague Metronome, a contemporary steel sculpture that marks the time from a hilltop, and then return to the starting point, where your cruise finishes.

2-Hour Cruise
Settle aboard and drink in Prague’s landmarks and monuments on a leisurely 2-hour cruise. Follow the 1-hour cruise route before continuing further south along the river past some of the city’s lesser-known sights.

Float under the arched Jirásek and Palacký Bridges and enjoy wonderful, panoramic views of Prague’s medieval quarter as your boat pulls further away.

Navigate the Smichov Canal Lock and admire Vyšehrad Citadel, dominated by the twin spires of the Basilica and St Peter and St Paul.

Have your camera ready, too, for the extraordinary Dancing House: a curvy, 1990s building nicknamed ‘Fred and Ginger’ for resembling the shape of a pair of ballroom dancers.

After two hours, your trip ends when you dock back at the jetty.

Well the boat slowly goes along the river, following in a little convoy of other boats all doing the same thing! It goes two bridges down, come back to the starting point this has taken half an hour part of that time waiting to turn the boat around and then it goes 2 bridges up the river, turns and come back. You can get the same views from land and you could walk it quicker than the boat. I would guess it was a quarter of a mile each way.

Great end of the day tour when you are tired from walking the city. If you can go at sunset. Audio tour was difficult to hear but viewing the city was much more appealing than listening to a recording. Worth it for the low cost!

Was exactly what we wanted: up and down the river to see the views of the city from the river and go under the bridges. Got drinks and dessert on board to enjoy while we were viewing the sights. If you can, go just before sunset- the buildings are lit up in a golden light that is spectacular!

Short and sweet. Nice cruise down the river for a cheap price. Get to see the city from a different point of view.

We took the 1 hour river cruise in Prague. We were a little disappointed. There was no information about the sites no one to tell you and no audio guide. The trip was very short. a short ride past one bridge then back again past the bridge we started from then a turn around. We ordered something to drink but never received it. Others were served. I loved my trip with Viator in Scotland a few years ago but this one I would not recommend.

A wonderful and pleasant way of discovering the beautiful city of Prague. The boat is very pretty and you are able to order refreshments while you are enjoying the fantastic views.
A very agreable tour and highly recommended.

Was not very impressed with the River sightseeing cruise as we never saw much at all! Bascially we spend an hour just tyring to get through the lock and the rest of the time I only saw what I had already seen which was either side of the Charles Bridge really!

Nice orientation activity where you can see many important city sights from the river. Tour is an hour, but it is the same stretch of river there and back. Still worth it, especially if you have companions who have limited mobility or are tired of walking great relaxing tour. If you can go near sunset, the buildings are lit up with the setting sun, and look spectacular.
