Meet your cycling guide and group at Prague's main railway station. With your included ticket, hop aboard a train for the scenic, 50-minute journey to Čerčany.
At the bicycle outfitters, get set up with a bike and helmet. Bikes used have Deore derailleur, aluminum frame and a front suspension. Listen to a short safety briefing and orientation before pedaling off into the Czech countryside, far away from the urban bustle of the capital. Ride along the River Sázava, a popular recreation destination that was formerly mined for gold.
Start out flat and move to more challenging terrain, up hills and through the deep forest on narrow mountain-biking tracks. Stop to explore a medieval castle and pass picturesque cottages hidden in the dense trees. Stop at the village of Žampach to purchase lunch, then continue on to the highest stone bridge in Central Europe.
End up in the town of Týnec nad Sázavou, where you'll board the train back to Prague, arriving at around 6:30pm.
