What You Can Expect

Small-Group Portland City Driving Tour and Willamette River Lunch Cruise

Rose at International Rose Test Garden

Receive a late-morning pickup from your Portland hotel, or plan to meet with the group at a central meeting point in the city. You’ll be transferred from there to the Portland Spirit, the boat that will host your lunch-time river cruise.

Soak up the excellent views of the Portland skyline from the water as your boat cruises along the Willamette. As you cruise, you’ll also enjoy live entertainment on-board the ship, plus a lunch of locally-sourced cuisine with your choice of entrée, bread, fountain soft drinks, hot or iced tea, and coffee. Guests interested in appetizers, desserts, and alcoholic drinks from the bar can purchase these items for an additional fee.

Return back to land after your lunchtime sojourn and continue on a city sightseeing tour covering Portland’s top neighborhoods and attractions. After starting with a loop through downtown, you’ll expand the exploration to include Portland districts including the Pearl and Nob Hill.

You’ll also have time to stop by well-known city landmarks like the Lan Su Chinese Garden, built by Chinese artisans from the Suzhou region, along with Pittock Mansion, a historically significant house that opened to the public in 1965. Finish the day by “stopping to smell the roses” at the International Rose Test Garden, home to more than 550 varieties. You’ll finish the day with a drop-off at your hotel or the trip’s central meeting point around 5:30pm.

Very nice lunch cruise with info along the way, followed by a city tour for 3 more hours. Great way to see many Portland sites in a short amount of time. Van guide was very personable and knowledgeable about the city.

This tour was amazing. My husband and I truly enjoyed the tour and the guide. His knowledge of Portland was extraordinary.

3 star rating: Worth doing May 2017

The river tour was fantastic! However the small group city tour was disappointing. The tour guide was great. I was lead to believe the tour would be for up to 4 people. Our group was 7. Not what I wanted and not what I thought I purchased
