Start with 8am pickup at your hotel in Playa del Carmen or the surrounding area (pickups are available in Akumal, Puerto Aventuras, Puerto Morelos, and Playacar). Make the first stop of the day at a sea turtle swimming spot, where you can snorkel alongside the animals in their natural environment—the turtles are not in pens or cages. If weather conditions don't permit an ocean snorkel, an alternative snorkel site will be offered.
Continue to a fresh water cenote that’s surrounded by thick jungle, and jump from a high platform into the cool water; these underwater rivers run throughout the Yucatan Peninsula, carving caverns and cave systems into the limestone bedrock. Pause for a Yucatan-style lunch of traditional foods, then head to Tulum’s white sand beach for some time to swim, walk on the shore, or just soak up the sun.
After your time at the beach, a water taxi will take you to a sailing catamaran for the trip back to Puerto Aventuras. You’ll have access to an open bar of cold beer, cocktails, and fruit juice during the sail, and can snack on homemade guacamole along the way. The catamaran will arrive at Puerto Aventuras between 5:30pm and 6pm, and a driver will meet you for the trip back to your hotel, where this tour concludes.
