Although you could not see the sunset weather due to season we had an amazing time! Easily one of our favorite activities from our 5 day trip in Monterey, Big Sur, and San Francisco. Liz the captain was so cool and so knowledgeable. The cheese plate, hummus, and wine were perfect appetizers. Would absolutely do this again upon our return to Monterey!

4 star rating: Recommended April 2016

With just 4 of us on this boat we really enjoyed a real sailing experience and a perfect sunset on our evening trip. The Captain prepared us a simple but delicious meal and kept us entertained. As we set back for harbour against the wind it was a much choppier affair with plenty of hanging on tight and although it was a new experience for us we felt totally exhilarated after.

1 star rating: I do not recommend this July 2017

I would avoid this two-bit company. Had a horrible experience on this cruise. First of all, it's on a very small sail boat with just one crew member who is responsible for sailing and serving wine Trader Joe's two buck chuck and appetizers. Unfortunately, that means he isn't paying attention all of the time and that resulted in a few people on the trip getting hit by a large wave. Most of that wave landed on me. I was soaked to the skin despite having on a large jacket. The water temperature is about 50 degrees and the air about 60. Needless to say, I was freezing. All that was offered me was a change of clothes that I assume belonged to him. I didn't want to wear someone else's clothes! A half hour before the cruise was finished, he offered someone who was cold a blanket!!! Where was that blanket when I needed it??? My husband and I ended up buying expensive sweat pants on the wharf just so we could ride back to our hotel without soaking the car seat! All we received was an apology in exchange for an overpriced, dismal experience.
