Key West Day Trip

This day trip was a great way to see Key West. There is so much to see and do that you can't possibly do it all in the short time, but it was enough to know we want to go back. That being said, I felt like our guide Ariel was just there to up sell us on things we didn't need when he could have been upfront and truthful with us about how we could see the town on a budget. He suggested we purchase the hop on hop off bus ticket for 38 per person. We pulled him aside and asked if uber was available there or taxi's and he said they're far too expensive and the best way to go was to buy his ticket for hop on hop off bus. We then asked if it was walkable and if we could walk to the southernmost landmark and he said it was too far. We chose to NOT buy the ticket he kept suggesting and figure it out on our own since that seemed too much to pay to get our moneys' worth for the 6 hours we would be there. When we arrived in Key West, we went into a gift shop and asked for guidance and the first thing they said was there is a FREE bus that stops right one block from where we were dropped off and it would take us everywhere we wanted to go! That FREE bus stops every 15 minutes and it was air conditioned. Wow, our tour guide really didn't want us to know there was a FREE option and be honest with us as he would rather make a commission off of the sale of the hop on hop off tour. That was extremely disappointing as he clearly didn't value helping us but making a buck off of us. We took the free bus to the southernmost landmark and walked back to the port area and it was an easy walk up Duval street stopping in shops along the way. The bus ride from Miami was air conditioned but it picked us up late and left late to come back. We had a full 6 hours in Key West and really enjoyed the day but I wouldn't recommend this company if all guides are just out to get money out of you. Unfortunately because of this I only give them two stars.

We took this tour May 22, 2018 . The tour guide was bilingual but had a huge opportunity to practice how to communicate articulate clearly any and all the tour detail changes in a concise manner. She commented on a little history about a few points of interest along the way but I did not feel like she really had the knowledge or knew the history to tell us any stories. After stopping at a little restaurant that charged 8 for two pancakes we arrived.. Key West island is full of colorful flowers ,colorful homes, a large selection of restaurants this island is so beautiful and full of tourist energy.. We took the conch train tour, I realized too late that the trolley would have been a better choice to cut down on our walking. Finally one last comment on the bus ride experience either the driver or the tour guide should have prechecked the bus before the tour started or during the 6 hours we were on the island to insure all supplies necessary were on board, I say this because 1 hour and a half into the ride back to Miami from Key West , I along with several other guest discovered the tour bus had no toilet paper or soap in the bus lavatory. I will not recommend this particular tour . We will return to Key West in the future but we will either rent a car if in Miami or take a flight directly. On a positive note when you visit Key West check out Harpoon Harry's restaurant, the , vintage décor, friendly employees and they serve a super delicious slice of Key Lime pie.

very nice, the tour guide spoke very little English and kept repeating herself

This is not a tour, it’s purely transportation down to Key West. There is no WiFi on board the coach and this is a regular complaint on all the reviews. We were not given any info Miami or the Keys. The tour guide was more concerned on selling extra excursions on the trip. Do not recommend

It started frustratingly with delays and bus changes. But our host was very accommodating and gave us extra time in Key West. Key West itself is amazing. Highly recommend the snorkeling tour.

Key west is incredible but the bus journey down could be improved! We stopped on the way down for breakfast but the bus company had a few coaches which were already at the cafe so we didnt have time to get food as it was busy. Also the place is slightly rundown the restroom had no sink to wash our hands. When leaving the cafe the guide never checked who was on the bus and we left 8 people behind. We drove for 10 min before having to head back for them. Overall the day was fantastic but a lot could be done to improve the experience especially the customer experience!

My daughter, my sister and I had a great time! Pickup at the hotel was on time, the bus ride was smooth and the tour guide was very informative, and once in Key West we had a blast!

This trip was very enjoyable and the tour guide went out of her way to make us comfortable!

It was fantastic......even though we had a few delays! Bus bumped into an illegally parked truck, which took time to sort out the details. The bus air conditioner was broken, so it took a bit for them to bring another bus, which was actually nicer than the original bus. Through it all, our tour agent I believe her name is Mallory remained extremely calm and upbeat. She wasn't even suppose to go to Key West with us that day, we were suppose to change bus tour agents, but she stayed with us and even gave us an extra hour in Key West!

The glass bottom boat ride was relaxing, but unfortunately due to previous storms, we didn't really see much.

Gorgeous ride from Miami to key west. Key west in itself is great for a few hours - good food good architecture. Really enjoyed the tour !
