We cooked 4 different dishes in this lengthy class. The chefs were right there to help us every step of the way. I liked that they picked us up at our riad or hotel for free. We even got a certificate at the end.

My wife and I were picked up from our riad on the edge of the medina in a private van. We were driven across town to a village about 50 km away for the class. The class started with the making of mint tea by the village al qaim, Hassan while of course getting some instruction from Chef Yousseff on tea making. The class was intimate and we got a lot of attention in making the various dishes. I daresay the chicken tagine we made was the best I ate in Morocco. We learned about spices, making preserved lemon and how to make couscous and bread, among other things. A short walk through the village offered a break before lunch to sample our creations. This class was fabulous.

This was the best!!! Just be prepared for an hour drive out from Merrakech. The chef was the best, from start to finish. We learned so much not to mention the food was great!

This was an unexpected surprise of a tour. Chef Tarik was so good at creating an experience. Every moment was orchestrated and carried out by a team that knew exactly what to do. We all felt like we learned so much about Moroccan cooking, but more importantly, we learned the true historical traditions to the cooking and the Moroccan culture. We did this on day 1 of our Marrakech trip and we felt so much more prepared for every other tour and meal. Chef Tarik's understanding of food was truly expert. His experience and understanding food as medicine was exceptionally nice. As a preventative care physician who encourages scratch, whole foods cooking, this menu passed my test and my bar is set high. I never expected an organic farm to table experience where we literally collected the herbs and vegetables that would then be on our table in gourmet fashion. Kudos to this team and highly recommend this as a must-do!
