If you are looking for an introduction to Chinese food in the Philippines then I would recommend this tour for you. My partner and I had Jian as our tour guide and we really enjoyed our experience with him. We found Jian to be well spoken and very knowledgeable about the food and the area.

We went to several different places and even had a sit down lunch, so it was more than enough food for the both of us. For first time travelers in Manila, this tour is a good idea because it is also surrounded by various other attractions, so after the tour you can wander around and do some sightseeing on your own.

My partner and I have been on many food tours around the world, but what made this one different was the fact that it was private tour and therefore it felt more like he was a friend showing us around Manila.

Great tour! Jian and Mike were very knowledgeable, both of the history of Chinatown and the uniqueness of its food. But it was all about the food - we were absolutely stuffed towards the end of the tour and had to regrettably opt out of dessert. We even had our 'Bizarre Foods' moment - bull testicle soup! And there were lots of other things we saw for sale in the markets, that deserve a second look and possible taste test corn hair tea, anyone?. I highly recommend this walking tour even my mom liked it and she relies on a cane to get around.

What a great way to learn about one of the oldest Chinatowns in the world while sampling delicious food! Our guide, Roli, was very engaging and knowledgeable about Filipino culture, history, and cuisine. As a native Filipino, I learned a lot from this tour. And the variety of food selections were amazing -- from the lumpia, to the dumplings, the mami, the lunch, and dessert. You will not leave hungry! Highly recommended!
