Begin your 7-hour adventure with convenient pickup at your Managua hotel, where you'll climb into a private, air-conditioned vehicle and take off for the Mombacho Volcano Natural Reserve.
Disembark and hit the reserve's biology station, where your guide will fill you in on the history of the volcano. Then head out on the El Crater trail for a trek that will last between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. Bring your camera to snap photos of the cloud forest's rich biodiversity.
After your trek, head for nearby Lake Nicaragua, where you'll take a boat ride among the lake's more than 365 islets. Hear about the natural environment and wildlife from your guide before going ashore in Granada, where you can purchase lunch if you like (own expense).
Your 7-hour tour ends with drop-off at your Managua hotel.
