Arrive at Harrah's Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas ready to be entertained during this 90-minute stage show.
Find your seat in the comfortable theater and take a stroll down memory lane as the lights dim. The concert features one of the original Righteous Brothers, Bill Medley, who helped take the musical duo to the top of the charts over four decades. He is accompanied by versatile vocalist Bucky Heard in bringing their greatest hits back to the Vegas stage.
Sing along to some of the biggest hits, including The Time of My Life (from the movie Dirty Dancing), Rock and Roll Heaven, Unchained Melody, Soul & Inspiration and You've Lost that Lovin' Feeling (the most played song in radio history).
The new Righteous Brothers are as good as the 2 originals. Bill Medley chose Bucky Heard to substitute for his deceased partner Bobby Hadley. Bucky's voice is similar to Bobby's, so the songs sound the same.
Well, Bobby Hatfield has gone on to Rock n Roll Heaven, but Bucky Heard was commendable in voice and showmanship. Bill Medley's voice isn't what it was... but he is pushing 80 and still working it. He sang, he danced, he flirted... especially thrilling was the introduction of a backup singer, his daughter McKenna. She sand a ballad rendition of the old Everly Brothers, Bye Bye Love, and it has hit potential. The backstage pass at 45.00 was well worth the money. Great Show, Heart and SOUL!
The show was fantastic and more than I had hoped. Bill can still sing all of the songs and do all of the moves on stage, even at 76. His partner does a very good job but, he is just not Bobby. All in all I would say that this is a must see if you are in Vegas.
What an amazing opportunity to still see Bill Medley and his wonderful new partner. These songs brought back so many memories. Bill Medley can still sing great at 76 and his daughter also sings in the show. Bought his book and CD.
