See a different side of Kuta on a 4-hour small-group, street food tour that takes you off the beaten track. First, climb onto the back of a motorbike and allow your driver to take you to three of Kuta’s culinary hotspots to sample Indonesian specialties. Pleasure your palate with with ‘tempe peynet’ (cfermented soy beans) and then enjoy the fragrant aromas of Bemo Corner, a street lined with food stalls selling chicken soup and fried rice. Conclude at Patung Kuda to see the Bali Bombing Memorial and enjoy your final dish.
Overall this food tour was enjoyable but could be made better in my opinion.
This food tour takes you to only 3 different food places in the allotted 4 hours. I think for a food tour this is a bit light on.
The food tours we did in Vietnam and Thailand visited a lot more places and we saw people preparing the dishes which was also excellent and not present here.
Visiting memorials and statues was not really required and probably was a bit of a time waster instead of adding more food stall visits.
