Meet up with your guide and small group in central Geneva for a morning or afternoon Segway tour. During a safety briefing and practice session, you’ll learn to master the controls on your motorized personal transporter — a safe and efficient way to explore the city on two wheels without the effort of a bicycle. Then take off to discover Geneva with your guide!
View the Brunswick Monument and several local landmarks before you motor across the Bergues Bridge to Old Town. Stop at historic sites such as the Reformation Wall to hear about the Protestant Reformation and other significant events of Geneva’s past.
Visit Cathédrale de St-Pierre (St Pierre Cathedral) and cruise effortlessly along narrow, cobblestone streets past babbling fountains and town squares frequented by locals. See, too, the Flower Clock, an homage to Switzerland’s clock-making tradition, and cruise along the banks of Lake Geneva for serene views all the way to the Swiss Alps.
Continue on through manicured parks where your guide points out some of the world’s major international organizations, including the United Nations, World Health Organization, International Committee of the Red Cross and International Labour Organization.
Stop for a break at the grounds of the imposing Château de Penthes (Penthes Castle), then descend past the Botanical Gardens to the heart of Geneva, where your 3.5-hour Segway tour concludes.
