Depart from a centrally located Geneva pickup point in an air-conditioned coach and embark on a scenic journey across the Switzerland-France border. Gaze at the snow-capped spires of the Alps as your guide sets the historical scene of Annecy, a medieval town shrouded in legend.

As you approach, marvel at the emerald waterways that weave their way around the town hailed as the ‘Venice of the Alps’; appreciate the picturesque tableau of colorful houses decorated with flower-filled balconies and enjoy some leisurely free time to eat lunch in the town (own expense and on morning tour only).

Revitalized, set out on a short orientation tour of the town, exploring the Old Town and its charming collection of monuments. Capture photographs beside the renowned Palais de l’Isle, a 12th-century island fortress, and absorb sweeping city vistas from its vertiginous vantage point.

Venture to Château d’Annecy, a grand castle whose hilltop perch affords more impressive panoramas, and peruse the interesting exhibits housed in its museum. See models of Alpine chalets and informative panels on the history of Lake Annecy, and then explore the town independently for the remainder of your tour.

After thoroughly exploring Annecy, reconvene with your guide and group and relax during the journey back to Geneva.

I loves this tour so much. A beautiful little village filled with activity and life. Great pictures and very fun morning.

Town is nice and lots of opportunities to take beautiful pictures. Our tour giude had very limited knowledge of the Geneva city. He was repeating same sentence over and over again, which was quite annoying. When i called the operator Key tours, lady ceary told me that bus stand which is next to Airport. I had to soend 33 dollars for taxi to come to city bus stand. I am extremely upset abiut it.

This is a great tour since it is only 4 hours which is all you really need. Annecy (pronounced ansie) is a beautiful small town with restaurants, shops, sweets, etc. The lake and mountains are truly picturesque. Tour guide is warm and friendly.

I use reviews all the time, but never go back and write my own--so today I am writing 5 good reviews and 5 bad reviews. This is 1 of my 5 BAD reviews. This tour was on a stuffy bus, and the tour guide spoke in three languages, which was fantastic that everyone could hear him, but while he was repeating the information in another language, we would go past things that he wouldn't explain. Unlike other tours, our tour guide was not very personable or friendly. I would have got more out of an uber driver to Annecy.

Beautiful town to visit. Very picturesque and enough time to explore it.

A lovely half day spent in this quaint little town ! If you travel on a Sunday as I did you will enjoy the farmers markets selling the local produce and witness the hustle and bustle of the locals. The old prison / castle are the highlights but the winding streets lined with little coffee shops and boutiques are a treat !
A tour not to be missed.

Great tour. Unfortunately, it was a rainy weather day for us, but still had a great time! Would definitely recommend. Such a cute little city.

We were unfortunate that on the day we went to Annecy we were in a snowstorm, so did not see very much as it was a whiteout. We did walk around the town though and there are some really lovely buildings there, but we had to be very careful as everywhere was very slippery due to the snow. The star rating of three is only because we were not able to do justice to the trip due to the snowstorm.

Even though it was quite worthwhile visiting Annecy, the guide was not very good, didn't have much to say, his English was poor and spoke in Spanish as well as 90 of the participants were Spanish speakers. He did not ask at the onset how many English speakers there were. The disappointment was that we were asked to return to the bus by 12:30 and I feel we lost a good 30 minutes or more visiting Annecy. We arrived back at Geneva by 1:15 instead of 2 pm as was indicated on the tour.

Laid back and short trip to visit this beautiful town. We were given few hours to wander around ourselves, so it was very flexible.
