Art, history, countryside, food. Tuscany has it all. If you only have one day free, book this Tuscany day trip from Florence to discover the region’s highlights with a local guide. Explore the city of Siena and the cathedral, and then take to the Chianti hills for a Tuscan lunch and wine tasting. Roam the streets of San Gimignano, and travel to Pisa to admire the architectural drama of Cathedral Square — home to the UNESCO-listed Leaning Tower of Pisa. Upgrade to include skip-the-line entry, if you wish.
  • Tuscany 1-day sightseeing tour with spectacular countryside views
  • Enjoy a guided tour through Siena, including entry to the gothic Cathedral
  • Soak up free time to explore Siena, San Gimignano and Pisa at your own pace
  • Savor a hearty lunch with wine served at an organic wine estate in Chianti
  • See the Leaning Tower of Pisa up close
  • Transportation by luxury air-conditioned coach

Board your coach in Florence, and travel into the hills of Tuscany where the city of Siena awaits. Opt to take a guided tour of the city with a visit to Siena Cathedral to admire its renowned Gothic architecture. Or, make the most of some free time to set your own pace, and perhaps enjoy a coffee in the sun alongside the locals.

From Siena, return to the Tuscan countryside to explore the Chianti wine region. Stretch your legs with a stroll through a vineyard, olive grove and wine cellar, and refuel with a Tuscan winery lunch. As you sit surrounded by the grape vines, meet other visitors to the area and indulge in local treats such as cold cuts of meat, salad, pasta and fresh bread. Even better, a wine tasting takes place at the same time.

After lunch, journey onward to San Gimignano with its medieval towers, cobbled streets and squares. Explore the town’s historic center, cool down with a refreshing gelato and wander amid the 14 towers as you learn about their history.

Travel from San Gimignano to Pisa: your final stop of the day. Follow your guide to Cathedral Square to discover Pisa Duomo, Pisa Baptistry, the monumental cemetery (aka Camposanto) and, of course, the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Return to Florence in the early evening, and finish your Tuscany tour with a drop-off at the start point.

Sample Lunch Menu includes:

  • Pasta with Chianina beef ragù
  • Tuscan ham, salami and local artisan sheep milk cheese

Olivia our Tour Guide and Mossimo the Bus Driver made this an enjoyable trip. Olivia made the trip worth while with the history and points of intrest.

It all went to plan but the plan had too tittle time at Pisa and too much time spent walking between the coach and the locations. Also the coach had a toilet on board but it was locked. Check that you want to spend time at all the locations and if you do it represents good value for the coverage. Local guide was knowledgeable. Tour host was enthusiastic.

Last Tuesday the 23rd Oct, my son and I took this couch trip and were so delighted with everything. The tour took in so much, we saw Siena, San Gimignano and had a beautiful lunch with wine at Fattoria Poggio Alloro (Fabulous)! and ending in Pisa. We had a wonderful guide in Olivia, who was knowledgeable, cheerful and relaxed, and our bus driver Nando, who was a gent and helped everyone on and off the bus. The Tuscan countryside was stunning and I believe this trip was excellent value for money, as we got to see so much. Thanks again to Olivia and Nando and please do not forget to tip your guide and driver as they put in a long day and are as cheerful at the end as at the beginning of the tour. Alex was awesome Knowledgeable, funny, well-prepared, responsive, helpful all of these and more. The context added X10 value to the all ready astonishing visuals on our tour to Siena, Chigimiangano and Pisa. See the sights is one thing, understanding them along with their folklore, history, and living customs is way better. This was worth many times its cost.

This was one of the most organized and professional tours I’ve taken! our guide, Elisa, was very sweet and accommodating. She thought of the small details and made sure we all had a great time. Great information was given and Elisa made sure we had a better understanding of Italian culture! Lunch at the organic winery was fantastic..great views, wines, and food. The vegetarian option was delicious! This trip is long and lots of walking. If you can’t a lot of hills and walking, I wouldn’t recommend this tour! Thank you John Carlo and Elisa for the great day!!

Fabulous tour. Our guide was Angela and our driver was Nando. The bus we were on was very comfortable with storage overhead. Angela was very informative of sites along the way and the towns we visited. The “whisper “ earplugs provided were great because you can hear everything guide was saying while you were taking pictures of things and didn’t need to stand around her the entire time to hear. Well organized tour with so many things to see and do. Angela not only focused on the entire group but got to talk to each person individually and answered questions. She was a pleasure. Nando was a gentleman. He helped everyone on and off the bus and provided light on ground when it got dark outside.

This was an excellent bus tour. If you want to see Tuscany, visit small villages, enjoy lunch with wine tasting on a Vineyard, and see Pisa all in one day, I highly recommend this tour.

Enjoyed are day touring around Tuscany . Our guide Olivia was very good and very helpful. The only thing i would changed is the time spent in Pisa was short and late in the day. Yes it gave a different view but was nearly dusk.
