The bus was a big comfy tour bus. The first winery was an old castle with a winery on the location. You get to see the cellar and taste 4 wines with homemade olive oil from the winery as well. The second winery is more of a distillery as they dont have a winery at the location, but do the fermenting and bottling there. This is a very modern business. I believe we tried 3 wines with meat samples there. The 2 wineries are completely opposite. The city of Greve is very small, but charming. Tour was worth the money and time.

Awesome tour through the wine country. The bus ride was awesome and comfortable. The wineries were beautiful. The samples were plenty, and we were able to purchase items after sampling. I felt like it was fun and educational. If you love wine, olive oil, and scenery then you will love this tour.

Brando, our tour guide, was very informative and knew what he was talking about. Great trip to Chianti and fantastic stop in Grieve! Felt like we had a personal tour since there was only 17 of us. Wonderful wines of 2 wineries. A must do at an incredible price!

A fantastic tour to 2 very different vineyards. Tasted some lovely wine and both vineyards were great hosts! Lovely afternoon trip out of the hustle and bustle of Florence and worth every penny! Very well organised therefore would recommend it to anyone visiting.

The guide, fluent in 5 languages, was very informative and exceptionally well versed in all facets relating to grape varieties/growing, wines/wine-making, regulatory requirements, vineyards visited on the tour and the Chianti region overall. Greve was the perfect small town to visit on the tour i.e. up-market, interesting and uncrowded. Could have easily spent an hour in this town however, realize the tour timings only allowed for a short stay.
The overall tour was quite close to the heart of Florence however, covered a reasonable distance and WOW'd the group with breathtaking scenery along the way. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking 'A Taste of Tuscany', in the Chianti region.

This is a delightful tour of the Chianti area. Part of the delight was our guide, Julio, who makes it clear, is in love with his country, his region and its native wines, and most of all, people. We saw a small family owned winery as well as a large, globally known operation. We also had time to walk around a tiny village in the area. It was a charming day, a good break from the rigors of historical sightseeing. I would recommend this tour, led by Julio, to see the countryside and to taste some of their lovely wine production.
