It was a long but fun and informatively tour. Lunch was good with wines tasting.Staffs were friendly and helpful.
This was an amazing tour.. I day well spent and will be in my memory for very long... Very well designed tour... started with trip to Pisa.. visit to San Gimianano ... ..lunch at winery ... and best part is walking tour to Siena and its cathedral.
The guide at Siena .. missed her name ... was very good..
This tour should also include a tour guide to Pisa to make the visit informative one.
Very full day. Enjoyed bus ride in between sites to rest our feet. You are definitely going to tourist traps but it's still enjoyable! I only wish there would have been a photo op somewhere by the fields of sunflowers. Great guides, great day. Climbing the leaning tower they recommend booking tickets in advance and I believe they are 18 Euro each so we opted not to. Walking around there was plenty to see and reasonable souvenir vendors. Be prepared to pay 1 Euro for the bathrooms in a few places. No big deal.
This tour was amazing!
Wonderful trip and would recommend this to people of all age groups. This is the only way to cover the large terrain of Tuscany. The tour guide was great, helpful and polite. The bus took us to Pisa via Pistoria and Lucca. Good small towns with a lot of history. Stopped at Pisa for some free time. Next stop was the gorgeous San Gimignano where you can get some excellent wine and gelato. It is a walled town with high towers. Despite being an exclusive tourist place, the prices in the shops are reasonable and similar to other cities in Italy. The view from the top of the hill, overlooking the wine growing areas of Tuscany is amazing. After that we had lunch in a winery in Chianti. Wine tasting with lunch. We had vegetarian option as well. After a very relaxing lunch we headed to Sienna, the land of the palio races. This is the only place we had a local tour guide. There was also free time to explore the town. When we returned to Florence, the bus had to stop at a different place as there is construction around Santa Maria Novella Station. The tour guide and the tour company were kind to drop some of us in a mini van to the train station. Great trip.
Great tour guides and driver...loved the sights, good lunch, Well-timed and planned....Super fun day!
Wonderful day even though it was raining, especially in Pisa. San Gimignano is delightful, and the Tuscany landscape and visit to the winery for lunch was a treat. Siena is a very beautiful city but the walking was a bit tiring, especially at the end of the day. It was a long trip: 14 hours. We still would recommend the trip because you really get to see a lot in one day.
it takes you to the places of interest which will be difficult to be visited in a day.
its a bit long day 13 hrs there can be some deletions of 15 minute each at all the places.
lunch was ok but it can be in some different and DECENT environment rather than sitting in a lane and then listenning to lecture before each tasting . which was more like the advertisement clip.
What a trip busy and inclusive and very highly recommended, very good value and enjoyable
Pisa was AWESOME!!! Walked all the steps to the very top of the leaning tower. Tremendous as well as treacherous but so TOTALLY worth it!!!
And Gelateria Dondoli at San Gimignano was awesome as posted. Loved La Palma and GROM in Roma more, but this was my 3rd favorite gelateria. And the quaint shops in San Gimignano were fantastic!!! Definitely have to go back!!!
