Your tour will begin in central Florence, where you’ll join up with your guide. Walk to a Florentine food market and peruse the stalls, each teeming with the region’s freshest ingredients, including cured meats, olives, cheeses, balsamic vinegar, sun-dried tomatoes and other Tuscan delicacies. Select some of these high-quality ingredients for your cooking class later in the afternoon and enjoy tastings of the food and wine.

Climb aboard a minibus and journey into the Tuscan hills, where you'll arrive at a rustic farmhouse. Under the guidance of an expert chef, prepare a full Tuscan meal. Discover the culinary secrets behind Tuscan meat sauces and watch how to whip up Italian pasta from scratch.

Then grab fresh bread, tomatoes and olive oil to create a bruschetta. Take a break to feast on your dishes, sitting down with a glass of Chianti wine.

Return to the kitchen to prepare traditional roast pork, seasoned with fresh herbs from the farm. While the pork cooks, learn how to make the typical Italian dessert, the classic tiramisu.

Finally, reward yourself with your 4-course meal. Complement your roast pork and desserts with Tuscan wine and good conversation. Before returning to Florence, you’ll receive the recipes you learned so you can impress family and friends back at home with your Italian dishes.

The place is very cozy. The chef Carmela is a very good teacher and sings between the orientations. Before going to the classes we went with the other chef, Isach, to the market where we were taught about the products of Florence. He was also the translator for Carmela, who didn’t speak English, but even so she was very communicative. It was a memorable day.

This is one of the best tours I have ever taken. While the guided tour of the market with Olivia was good, it pailed in comparison to the wonderful afternoon we spent with her and Carmella at the farmhouse making our pasta, sauces, pork and taramisu. Carmella is a real character and a great chef. The setting is absolutely beautiful. Work your dough, drink some Chianti and enjoy.

The highlight of my trip !

The tour started in central Florence, where chef Isak met the group. We walked together to the Central Market where we gathered the ingredients needed for the day. I really enjoyed the market tour as Isak was very informative about the ingredients. Afterwards we went on a bus and drove to the beautiful farmhouse which had this amazing view over the Tuscan countryside.
We learned how to make delicious Italian food such as pesto, bruschetta, pork, pasta and tiramisu - and the food was SO GOOD!
Isak and Carmela were really engaging, informative, humorous and simply a real joy to be around.
I learned so much from this tour and I've already made almost all of those dishes for my friends and family members back home, and let's just say that it was a big hit!

Highly recommended tour for people looking for a day to remember in Florence!

We absolutely loved, loved, loved this experience! We were looking for an all inclusive, reasonably priced cooking class that also provided transportation. We got this, and much, much more! We had a few skeptics in our group of five, but they walked about with an experience of a lifetime! Carmella and Isak were engaging, encouraging, humorous, and fun! We learned the tricks of the trade from an experienced Italian chef and made a delicious 4-course meal that we'll be able to replicate because we received the actual recipes. And, did I mention the wine!

If your travels take you to Florence, definitely put this on your bucket list! You will not be disappointed.

Isaac and Carmella absolutely made this tour one of the best days we had on our trip to Italy. We started by getting our fresh ingredients from the market and then took a short drive to this seriously stunning house where we met Carmella. We were taught how to make bruschetta, pork, pasta, and tiramisu... all from scratch! Not to mention all the wine they provided! Although we had about 25 people in our group, everything felt very intimate. I would absolutely recommend this tour to everyone. You will not be disappointed!

Everything ran smooth and was exactly as advertised. Our Guide, Isaac, picked us up and took us to this beautiful farm house. He is an American chef who has been living in Italy for 10 years. He was funny and very knowledgeable. He met us all in line, about 20 of us and then he proceeded to do a roll call on the bus and remembered each and every name from when he met us. Pretty impressive. The cooking knowledge and tips given by both chefs were great tips to take home and use again. The meal was delicious and we participated in every step. Love that I can now make my own pasta from scratch. The wine was flowing and everyone had a great time. Highly, highly recommend this tour to anyone going to Florence. Great job Isaac!!

My husband and I had an amazing time doing this. The chefs were awesome and the food we made was soooooo good!

Very disappointed. There were 29 people on this course which was way too many. Our chef was not even Italian. Because our tour took place on a Sunday, we didn't get to enjoy the Market Tour which was also disappointing. The food was ok, never received the recipes that we were promised. All in all not a great experience and quite expensive for what you get.
