The tour guide Paul was amazing. He had a great personality and was very sociable. His knowledge was immense and he presented it well. Best way to see the highlands.
Our driver Iain was delightful, enthusiasitic and full of little anecdotes as well as history to keep the day fully entertaining. We all thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was nice being such a small group that allowed for some leisurely time to explore and take photos. The bGlencoyne distillery was a great, informative tour and we especially loved the breathtaking scenery at Stirling.
Really good, really enjoyable. Andy our tour guide was very funny with commentary the whole way and passionate story telling.
This was a great tour! It was a very cold day so we took a slightly different route than normal but the sun was out all day and we got wonderful clear skies. Stirling castle was not the most stunning but it had a very interesting history and there was a wonderful tour guide there who showed us around. In addition there were very interesting exhibits there and wonderful views of the countryside. The town where we had lunch was very small and there weren't too many options for vegetarians but I was able to find something at a coffee shop. In addition there is a grocery store with sandwiches, etc. The visit to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs was the highlight of the tour for me, with majestic views and a nice, if short, walk. The tour of Glengoyne Distillery was lovely, a great way to end the day. If you are interested in seeing the highlands or getting more time outdoors this is not the best tour, but it was a good way to see a little bit of everything for those who don't have more than a day to spare.
Gorgeous castle. Lucked out and was there on a clear and sunny day. Everywhere you look is a postcard. Could spend hours just taking pictures on the outside from the Castle. The extra stops were nice as well. Very scenic. The Whisky portion of the tour was nice too. Very good Whisky. Very informative. Please note this tour goes through the highlands lots of hills, valleys and winding turns. If you get motion sickness pretty easily, don't go on this tour. It is very disrupting to everyone else, when we have to constantly stop so you can throw up.
We enjoy visiting the castle and especially the Glencoyne Whisky distillery. We learned a lot about whisky making and it was enlightening. Great tour!
We had a wonderful tour! James was very knowledgeable and his love for Scotland and its history was obvious. The tour of the Glengoyne Distillery was a perfect way to close out the tour. I’d recommend this tour to anyone visiting Edinburgh.

Absolutely amazing and worth every penny! Stirling Castle is breathtaking and so is Loch Lomond. We even had a bonus photo op and stopped at Doune Castle which is also gorgeous and used in the shows Outlander and Game of Thrones. Our guide, Paul was funny, nice, easygoing and very knowledgeable. All in all a great albeit cold! day! I would book through you again! Jeannine
This was an excellent tour. Our guide/driver was a lot of fun and very informative. We got a lot of sights into our day, highly recommend this tour.
Great tour and great guide! This was a magical trip for us on our 30th anniversary. The castle is wonder! You can even take your picture at the banquet table. Look at the ceiling in the banquet hall! Amazing! Our guide was great, knowledgeable, and gave us so much info. We are returning in 2019 and I have already been planning our Viagor tours.
Our driver/tour guide is Niall. Hes the best tour guide ever. It rained so much that day but we are really entertained of his stories and his humor. The tour is great..we love scotland!
Great way to see Stirling Castle, the countryside and hairy coos!! Topped off by whisky tasting Andy was a great guide explaining history as we drove along - with funny side notes. Very enjoyable. We got to see more than I thought we would. Highly recommend.
This was a really fun day trip. We had lots of time everywhere, and Colin was a great guide. Glengoyne Distillery was fantastic as well as Stirling Castle, Loch Lomond, and the hairy coos!
Very good tour! We had a great guide, Allen, who was funny, a good story teller, wonderful driver, and just an all around great!! We had plenty of time at each stop. You get a little taste of everything- Highlands, Castle and Whiskey. The 18 yr. Glengoyne was our favorite.
Great tour with our driver Paul. Stirling Castle was interesting, the scenery was incredible and the whiskey tasting was more entertaining than than I expected. We even got an extra stop at Doune Castle because our group was so prompt. It was a great day.
loved everything about this tour, the driver/guide Iain was fantastic stopping at places that weren't listed, proper amount of time at each location.he also gave us short but interesting Scottish history.overall an A.
This tour was a delight- thanks in large part to our guide Niall. He is very knowledgeable, charming, and helpful. The coach was very comfortable, and the whole day was a delight. I highly recommend this tour, and even more, this guide :-
Great day...Paul our guide was excellent - van was comfortable - very interesting and would recommend
Absolutely a must do trip if you want to see the most important part of Scotland. Rich with history, scenery and good food. Our guide was the BEST! Ask for Iain Ian and you will thoroughly enjoy the day. He provides you with a lively and humorous presentation without overdoing it. A delight! I highly recommend this tour.

iaian was so charming and totally entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Learned many facts about this great country and fell in love with the countryside. We appreciated staying with the schedule - small group tours are the best. Thanks again Iain.
A delightful tour. Our guide on the Wee Red Bus, Helen, made the day as she kept everyone interested and entertained with a mix of Scottish history, music and, of course the sites. We had a couple of brief side trips in addition to Stirling and Glengoyne and that glimpse of Loch Lomond and thoroughly enjoyed our tour.
What an amazing way to see this beautiful country! Our guide, Niall, was an added bonus since he was a true story teller. The sights you see on this tour aren't to be missed if you are in Scotland!
This was a great day trip from Edinburgh. Iain was a great driver and tour guide, and his explanations and introductions were great. The mini-bus was very comfortable, the sites were great, and the place for lunch was excellent. Great way to see the country
Iain, did a great job as our tour guide. We enjoyed the history stories with his Scottish and English voices. My family is still singing Scottish folk songs that he taught us on the way back to Edinburgh. If you do one of the tours at Stirling Castles you will not have much time to explore the castle on your own, so be mindful of the time. I think we had an hour and a half. The Whisky tour cost 8 or 12 pounds per person depending on how much you sample. Children can tour for free, since they are underaged to sample. Well worth the time and money and easy pick near the train station.
