We had a wonderful time touring some of the royal sights of Copenhagen on our tour. Our guide, Jorgen, was professional, knowledgable, and articulate. He gave us great tours of Christiansborg Palace, Rosenborg Palace, and the area around Amalienborg Palace. He pointed out many of the other sites of Copenhagen as we drove or walked through the city. The tour also included an hour long canal tour. It was a great introduction to the city before exploring on our own.

Excellent way to learn Danish history and see the sights! Our guide was top notch and we avoided long lines at the castles and canal boats. Meeting place was a bit confusing ... Maybe link a map on your confirmation email to the starting point.

Usually we are skeptical of group tours, but this one was great. Saw a lot of important sites in CPH and really enjoyed our boat tour of the harbor area.

Our guide,Soren, was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, professional, funny and gave us great guidance on the finer points of Danish pastry.

We were delighted to be with a small group and Jorgan, an excellent guide, to tour this amazing city. He maintained a comfortable pace and fielded all questions with knowledge and insight. He shared valuable information, which was especially welcoming after an unfulfilling previous day on the Hop On Hop Off bus. The boat trip was informative and delightful despite the wind and rain. One can't underestimate the value of a conscientious guide when trying to capture the history of a city in a limited time. Heartily recommend this tour and this particular guide. Advise to travelers: Bring a hooded rain jacket and layer clothing. Hotels have loaner umbrellas but they are large and cumbersome, so fold-away umbrellas are a welcome luxury.

This is a great way to get a good feel of the city of Copenhagen in one day without the hassle of driving, taking the metro or finding your way with a map on foot. We had a great tour guide named Jorgen who was very knowledgeable and just a genuinely nice guy. This was a mini-bus tour with a limited number of people which made it easier to zip around the city. We started the tour with a 1 hour canal tour, Jorgen dropped us off at the pickup location in Nyhavn and met us when the tour was finished. We were able to cruise the city's waterways with views of the Little Mermaid, Opera House and Christianshavn. Next, we toured Christiansborg Palace, the Danish Parliament, and headed to Amalienborg Palace Square, the home of the Danish Royal Family. We stopped at a local restaurant, a short walk from Amalienborg, for a sit down lunch. This was a great way to sample traditional Danish food. Or final stop for the day was Rosenborg Castle a Renaissance style castle which houses the crown jewels. Jorgen guided us through both palace tours and was very knowledgeable. The collection of swords, clothing and kings wine at Rosenborg was very interesting to see. We took this tour on our second day in Copenhagen and it was a great way to familiarize ourselves with the city. We then struck out on our own to visit any sites that were not covered on the tour. You will not be disappointed with this tour, it is a must, especially on if this is your first visit to Copenhagen.

This was our first visit to Copenhagen, there was four of us in our group and had an amazing time. Our tour guide Soren was exceptional. He was what made this tour so enjoyable, he was very personable and very knowledgeable, he was just filled with all kinds of information and was able to answer all questions asked of him. I would rate this tour as a ten.

Henry was outstanding and the trip really helped us to get to know the city. Always do this on your first day. The joint bus and boat tour really make it terrific. Hopefully it will be sunny which is even better. This was MUCH better than the castle tour which was saved only by the gorgeous scenery on the way. It was not well run.

We were very pleased with the tour, our guide, and the arrangements and would recommend it to anyone who is new to Copenhagen. Basically, it covers three current/former royal palaces in the close-in parts of Copenhagen - Christiansborg, Amalienborg the outside only and Rosenborg our guide Johann was a font of information on all these sites and their history, and also provided a lot of information about the city, its history, and elements of life in Denmark as we rode/walked between them. We also saw picturesque Nyhavn, from whence our boat tour of the city's waterways began and had an excellent Danish lunch FYI as is clearly stated in the description, the cost of your lunch is not a part of the tour price at a café close by. We particularly enjoyed the variety of typical Danish offerings on the café menu various sorts of herring, fish cakes, shrimp, for example and the opportunity to see Rosenborg, which is so well preserved, so unlike the typical palace, and which contains quite a few unusual unique artifacts.

Worth noting is that there are two very similarly named tours, covering different subject matter that leave from the same gathering spot, so be sure you have the EXACT name of the one you booked we almost ended up in the wrong one. It was also very convenient to be picked up from, and delivered back to, our hotel.

Excellent tour, capturing Copenhagen's highlights - perfect for us since we only had a short time to enjoy this beautiful city. We were picked up right on time at our hotel and taken to the tour start location, and driven back to our hotel after the tour completed. Our guude, Jorgen, was great...both interesting and knowledgeable about the sites. We would highly recommend this tour, and look forward to coming back to see more of this gorgeous city and country!

My wife and I enjoyed the small size of the tour...it gave us a great opportunity for interaction with our guide. We got to see the essentials of Copenhagen, and learned more about the culture. Being picked up at our hotel was a big plus!! We didn't have to worry about how to find where we were meeting. Great Experience!!!

The tour is everything that is promised. It is a great way to get an overview of the history and culture of Denmark. Our guide, Rasmus, provided both knowledge and passion for Denmark and Copenhagen. He was very thoughtful about guest needs. The restaurant chosen for lunch was a good choice. It was in a tourist-rich area, yet the restaurant did not feel touristy. The staff were efficient, the food choices provided a satisfactory array of local foods and conventional items to satisfy those wanting to stick to what they knew. Prices were reasonable.

For one worthy day in Copenhagen this tour is a must. You visit and learn so much and get a nice tour on the Canal. Only one thing is the lunch break which could be better. And last but not least a big thank you to our great guide Jorgen, he surely made all the difference in this tour !

The main reason that I do not rate higher is that the weather did NOT cooperate. It rained hard some time almost all the time during our tour. Our tour guide Rasmus tried his best to offer us insights for the city, and we my husband and I would rate him as very professional. We saw Christiansborg Palace, Amalienborg Palace Square the Crown Prince was in residence with his flag up and Rosenborg Castle viewed the beautiful crown jewels and other treasures. The canal tour was impacted greatly by the rain. It seemed that we missed to go Christianshavn and Vesterbro. One area that can be improved is the lunch place. The waitress was very impolite and impatient - not good. The food was quite ordinary and expensive. On the whole we would recommend this tour if one is in town for a very short time and hope for a dry weather!

I took other tours with Viator and was happy with all, this one was the only one made me disappointed !
I am a frequent traveler so I use tours a lot ! This was my worst experience !
I was mistaken with the time tour starts, so I tried to call the number on itenerary !
I called 3 times and had no answer, at 4th time, someone answered the call !
I explained the situation and asked the representative that where can I join the rest of the tour ! He answered he doesn't know, he needs to contact tour guide and let me know. He asked for my number which I didn't have any since I am a tourist ! So, I said I will call him back !
After call him back 2 times, after second time he told me since I don't have a cellphone, they can't update me where they are and I can't join the rest of tour I paid for !!
Excuse me ?!! Tours have schedule and they know where they go different times ! As an example, they know 10-11 they are in Place A, 11-12 Place B !!
I have seen many times people who catch the tour later and they didn't have cellphone number since they were tourists ! Just because tours have schedule !
When I explained all to him, he answered again Sorry ! you can't join the rest of the tour since you don't have cellphone number !!
I asked can I join the same tour tomorrow ?! He answered : NO !
I asked can I atlas join other tour same price range or less today or tomorrow ?! Again the answer was NO !
This was so disappointing and stressful since I just had one day and half in Copenhagen !
Viator is a good tour, I wish they will adjust this one as well !
