What You Can Expect

Make your way to the Chicago Architecture Foundation Shop and Tour Center, located at 226 S. Michigan Avenue, in advance of your 9:30 a.m. tour departure time. With your guide and group, climb aboard an air-conditioned bus and set out for Oak Park, listening to your guide's insightful commentary as you travel. 

This neighborhood features more than 30 Wright-designed buildings, including the Frank Lloyd Wright Home & Studio, where you'll take a 1-hour guided interior tour. Learn about the famous architects who studied there and the genesis of the Prairie School style of architecture, then take off for a 45-minute walking tour of the Frank Lloyd Wright Historic District, including an interior visit of the Unity Temple.
