After pickup from your centrally located Chiang Mai hotel or Chiang Mai Gate in the morning, stop at the local market to shop for fresh ingredients for your cooking class.
Learn about the building blocks of Thai cuisine as you browse the market, then drive for about 20 minutes in local transport to reach the home where you take your class. Stroll around the organic farm to find vegetables for your meal, then your host serves you a Thai herbal drink and appetizer.
Your chef-host teaches you to make three Lanna dishes and one dessert. Follow the steps as you prepare each dish, and learn about Lanna culture in the process. When you have finished making your meal, sit down for a feast that you helped to prepare, accompanied by coffee, tea and water.
Your host gives you a recipe book to take home at the end of your meal. Return to Chiang Mai in the mid-afternoon to end your tour.
