The tour started at 8am but reached Hattstatt almost 2pm, after spending 1hr at a monastery library. Tour leaves around 4.15pm.There's no time even for a proper sit down late lunch if you wanna wonder the place to take some nice pictures.Suggest to provide a bottle of mineral water for free.

I enjoyed this tour. Admont Abbey was a dream to me and I can’t believe I was able to go. That experience alone was invaluable. Hallstatt was also beautiful but so packed and busy, it felt like this town has become more of a tourist trap than an experience of scenic life. I enjoyed walking around but felt like there were so many options that it was hard to pick which would be the most beneficial. I wanted to do the walk with the guide but it seemed like she didn’t want that so I explored alone(which is totally fine, just don’t expect a guaranteed guide in Hallstatt). Finally,I was not prepared for the sheer amount of driving. If the tour had begun a bit earlier perhaps this would have been missed a bit as people relaxed and slept on the way out instead of trying to listen as the guide spoke about the area.

For me, the drop in the Edmont Abbey adds value to the whole trip. Halstatt is good to see. I would not put it as a “must” though.

Hallstatt is a beautiful little village which looks like it's come straight out of a fairy tale. We had an amazing guide Daria who kept us informed with all the knowledge she had about Austria. Would definitely recommend this trip !

For some reason all the nice scenery seemed to be on the left side of the bus and couldn't switch seats so missed a good few photo opportunities. The drive is very long and for the time we actually spent in Hallstatt and surrounding area but paid 15 for an hour in a pedalo on the lake which allowed me to get some really good photos of the town and tall hills surrounding

A big day on the road but so worth it! Enroute we had a short breakfast/toilet break which was handy, following that the stop at Admont Abbey was fascinating with it's old Benedictine library - one of the Wonders of the World.

The scenery is stunning with rolling hills dotted with abbey's and castles, it provides some good exposure to the Austrian countryside.

Hallstatt was quaint and beautiful. Being energetic and keen, I was able to do the town walking tour with our guide, and then cutting that a bit short I rushed off to jump on the cable car to do the skywalk at the top of the mountain. With time up my sleeve I was able to take in the breathtaking views and also have a quick lunch at the cafe at the top before racing back down to meet the tour. I'm pleased I was able to enjoy both options in the village.

Our guide was pleasant, approachable and she had good English.

My only negative comment is the size of the group. There were a lot of people on this tour and in turn this meant getting through attractions was a bit slow.

The time of pick up and drop was absolutely on the dot. However, we were unprepared for the duration of travel and the little time we would get at Hallstatt. We had about 2 1/2 hours time there, in which we had to see the town and have lunch as well. Very hurried. The scenery was picturesque and the bus ride comfortable. The driver drove very well. The guide Anna( I think) was extremely knowledgable and informative. The narration was informative but tedious. She was not very interactive and communication was not her strength. The tour and the information thereby was hard to appreciate. To be fair to her, she was great at the information content and just gave us a barrage of it. Overall a beautiful view of Austria, could do with a little more conversation and less of lectures. Also it is repeated in Russian as well, so 5 hours of information . The tour overall was packed but enjoyable as we chose to eat and stroll around rather than go to some scenic points.
