Rome’s largest shopping mall is Euroma2, located on the outskirts of the city about eight miles from the city center. The shopping center opened in 2008 and has some 230 stores spread over three floors, ranging from clothing and shoes to jewelry, home furnishings, and electronics. There is also a large grocery store, IperCoop, inside the mall. Some of the brands are Italian or European, though many are popular American or other international names—such as Apple, Calvin Klein, Foot Locker, Timberland, H&M, and Guess. Euroma2 is not a fashion outlet mall with haute couture brands, rather it’s full of trendy shops that are widely appealing and affordable.
In addition to all the shops, Euroma2 has a variety of restaurants from fast casual options to Burger King and McDonalds to Italian name brands like Grom Gelato and Lavazza Coffee. There are also full-service restaurants.
There are regular events at Euroma2 throughout the year, including an ice skating rink during the winter months.
