Sherman Gardens is an inspiring horticultural oasis and nationally renowned botanic garden. The Gardens's collections include over 100 species of palms from around the world, many unique varieties of begonias, a lush tropical conservatory featuring a koi pond, carnivorous plants and orchid collection, an artistic succulent garden and rose garden. Visitors can explore the gardens along wide brick walkways winding past bubbling fountains and flower beds bursting with color, texture, and fragrance. The Sherman Library preserves books and documents relating to the history of the Pacific Southwest, primarily southern California. The Library also has an impressive California Impressionist painting collection on display.
