St Fin Barre's Cathedral Tours

With its castle-like spires, elaborate gargoyles, and striking tiered domes capped with a gold leaf Resurrection Angel, St Fin Barre's Cathedral demands attention from all angles. Built by renowned architect William Burges in the mid 19th-century, Cork’s cathedral is a Neo-Gothic fantasy, complete with exquisite stained glass windows, elaborate mosaics and ornate sculptures.

Highlights include the remarkable marble floor mosaics, the grand pulpit and bishop's throne, and over a thousand sculptures, plus Ireland’s largest church organ and a 24lb cannonball, which dates back to the 1690 Siege of Cork.
