Champion Brewing Company Tours

Craft brewing has taken the nation by storm, and Central Virginia is no exception to the sudden infusion of hops.  At Champion Brewing Company in historic Charlottesville, the company, which opened in 2012, noticed a niche in the local market, and started brewing varieties of beer that nobody else was producing. After only a couple of years in production, the result was drafts of progressive suds like a lavender and coriander wheat ale, and new takes on old classics, like a chicory IPA. Visiting the Champion Brewing Company today, visitors will find an intimate taproom and a constant rotation of beers, as well as games on the outdoor patio and a revolving menu of food trucks. Each month, a limited edition beer is released that’s only available at the taphouse, and the venue is a lively gathering place for sipping a pint downtown.
